     Business - Frequently Asked Questions

§  Q:  What is the competitive market for this system?

§  A:  Below are some common types of waste reduction-management technologies in use and their apparent limitations in meeting stringent air and environmental quality standards.

Traditional Gasification – Traditional techniques use an oxidizing agent such as oxygen to create the desired reaction. With the introduction of oxygen, oxidation occurs resulting in creation of undesired emissions such as acid gases, dioxins and furans, nitrogen oxides, sculpture dioxide, particulates, cadmium, mercury, lead and hydrogen supplied.

Incineration – The most widely used waste reduction method internationally is still the burning or incineration trash. Air emissions include in extreme amounts acid gases, dioxins and furans, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, particulates, cadmium, mercury, lead, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.

Pirolysis – This technology provides significant reduction in volume of solid waste matter while destroying all organic contaminants and toxins. However, the emissions from this oxidation driven technology results in emissions such as, acid gases, dioxins and furans, nitrogen oxides, sculpture dioxide, particulates, cadmium, mercury, lead and hydrogen supplied.

Landfills – Contradictory to common belief, landfills are not a viable solution to sustain our environment. People are misled to believe land filling provides a suitable environment for natural decomposition, believing eventually that waste in landfills will decompose over long periods of time.

§  Q:  What industries would this technology and/or system apply to?

§  A:  This technology applies to any industry and business sector that incurs the high cost of waste disposal and high energy consumption costs with an emphasis on existing and established waste disposal, land filling, recycling companies and others.

§  Q:  Can I have the system tested for verification by a third party?

§  A:  ACTI gasification system has existing EPA reports confirming all claims. We also welcome qualified interested parties to request their own EPA approved third party testing facility to confirm our data.

§  Q:  How much does ACTI gasification system cost?

§  A:  Each system is customized for your specific waste management and energy consumption needs. Cost will vary depending on the system. We customize solutions based on specific needs. Please submit a request for proposal form at DOWNLOADS page menu.

Full engineering of the project will be carried out during the first one month after signed Letter of Intent and confirmed a small commitment.

The system pays for itself as syngas produced in the thermal oxidation process provide a surplus that is utilized for operational energy consumption and free market sales. Other operational costs are nominal and will vary depending on each system solution.

§  Q:  Can ACTI provide a general description of the entire process, business plan, flow diagrams and detail design plant dimensions and installations required?

§  A:  ACTI can supply a diagram, but we have no idea which one of the projects you or your company has in mind. We are sure our presentation package will explain any additional questions you may have, please visit our DOWNLOADS page menu and download presentation file.

§  Q:  After the date of the agreement, how long does it take for plant to take action? We want to make "turn-key" agreement?

§  A:  After the date of the agreement, ACTI will start building the unit and will deliver unit. ACTI will start building unit upon receipt of Letter of Intent (LOI) and a Deposit (SBLC), and will deliver the product within 12-14 Months. All this subject to proper payment received. Once the unit is paid for and shipped to customer, Customer then will be responsible for hiring and installing crew and Install the Unit at customers cost. ACTI will assist with general detailed installing drawings to help the Installers. A "turn-key" project means installation. Unless you are installing the project it is not a "turn-key" project. All components are manufactured and assembled by ACTI and Sambrasuper is the direct representative of ACTI and all future correspondences should be directed to Sambrasuper.

§  Q:  What kind of labor and amount is required when installing the plant? We need help and technical education?

§  A:  During commissioning all we need are the people they like to be trained on the system. Generally don’t need more than 3 to 4 people. ACTI engineers will spend close to two (2) weeks at sight to teach the operation of the Unit to your crow. Any extra days will be needed are subject to an additional charge incurred to the customer. ACTI recommends that customer has professional technicians in order to operate the Unit. ACTI will train your engineers/technicians on site and at ACTI’s cost.

§  Q:  Would I need trained staff to operate the ACTI gasification system?

§  A:  Our system solutions are almost completely automated, turnkey solutions with only a minimal need for operational and maintenance staff.

§  Q:  Do we need licenses and/or permits to install and run the ACTI gasification system?

§  A:  The regulations and laws governing the technology in each country will vary depending on the waste matter for which our system solution is customized. Please submit a request for full proposal, which entail a full report on how our solutions can be implemented.

§  Q:  Do you offer service and maintenance plans?

§  A:  ACTI provides full and extended warranty and service plans for a gasification system. The power plant (gas turbines and generators) seller warrants that the power plant delivered pursuant to the sales contract shall be free of material and workmanship defects for a period of 12 months from first use or 18 months after delivery, of equipment to buyer, or 8,000 hours of run time, whichever occurs first.

§  Q:  How is the ACTI gasification system O&M cost?

§  A:  Each system is customized for your specific waste management and energy consumption needs. Cost will vary depending on the system. Nevertheless, the system pays for itself as syngas produced in the thermal oxidation process provide a surplus that is utilized for operational energy consumption and free market sales. Other operational costs are nominal and will vary depending on each system solution. Please SUBMIT your request for full proposal entailing a complete estimate of waste reduction, energy conversion, revenue projections, operational expenses and profit projections.
